Reviews of Mahogany Beach Club
from GoogleThere is something about the energy in this environment that calms you down. I love visiting; the place looks amazing after the renovations. You can grab a coffee and watch the lake from the dock. Thank you to the team for making this place special. P.S. I’m actually addicted to Chai Lattes.
Beautiful facility with a great atmosphere. Everything is well organized, and the staff are super friendly and welcoming. It’s a fantastic spot for families, and you can even enjoy fishing in the lake. A great place to spend quality time.
I am so impressed with this facility and the young staff members working here. This is our first summer living in this community. My husband and I are elderly but still enjoy the water. We need lots of help with the peddle boats, and the kayaks, getting in and out. Sophie and Addy are amazing at the west beach location. They are both so pleasant and eager to help out. They are doing a great job on all levels!!!
A new and fun community — we had a lovely afternoon with friends! There are plenty of water activities like swimming, fishing, and different types of boats with life jackets provided. We enjoy BBQ and beach games!
EDIT: According to Alberta law you DO NOT need to update driving license for temporary stays (less than 90 days) as that was exactly my case!! Again you demonstrated from your reply the level of incompetence in checking and replying to the situation!!! My experience with the Mahogany HOA has been extremely disappointing and has completely changed how I view this organization. My family sold our previous home in Mahogany, temporarily rented another property within Mahogany, and is taking possession of a newly purchased home in Mahogany within days. At no point did we stop being residents of this community. Despite providing full context and documentation, the HOA refused to grant temporary beach access purely because of a driver’s licence address technicality. What is most concerning is not just the decision itself, but the complete lack of judgment and common sense shown in handling such a straightforward situation. It is difficult to understand how an organization operating with a multi-million-dollar budget does not have anyone empowered—or capable enough—to assess circumstances beyond rigid checkbox policies and make reasonable case-by-case decisions. This is especially disappointing because both I and members of my community have consistently supported the HOA in every possible way, including donations, volunteering, and community involvement. We believed we were contributing to an organization that valued residents and exercised sound judgment. This experience has seriously damaged that trust. It is unsettling to realize that decisions affecting residents appear to be made without practical reasoning or meaningful discretion. As a result, my willingness to continue supporting this organization—whether through volunteering, donations, or advocacy—has been significantly impacted. Residents deserve better than blind bureaucracy from the very organization meant to serve them.
We had a wonderful experience celebrating our son's birthday here (in Mercado Room)! A special shoutout to Avery, who was incredible throughout the booking process. She was professional, thoughtful, solution-focused and in her communication she was prompt, warm and professional. The team on the day of our event was equally amazing- kind, helpful and everything was handled seamlessly. We would happily book here again and highly recommend it to other families!
About Mahogany Beach Club
Mahogany Beach Club, the residents' lake club at 29 Masters Park SE in Mahogany, has hosted Friday Jumu'ah in the banquet hall on its main level, but Jumu'ah here is paused until further notice after flooding at the facility.
Before you go
Check that the prayer has resumed before you make the trip. When it runs, there are two Jumu'ah prayers. The club is a residents' facility, not a mosque.
