Was served by a nice young man named Eyad. We had a lovely and refreshing conversation as well as he was incredibly accommodating to my food preferences. It was an incredibly refreshing experience as I have found that some of the young people working nowadays aren’t always very accommodating or respectful. It is nice to find employees who go above and beyond. I will be returning.

The ABSOLUTE best in Calgary. First of all, delicious and fresh shawarma, had the Falafel platter. Full pita with order, not this torn half a piece and folded, an entire large pita included. Friendly, clean and best value in the city. And they have a points plan.

I ordered a döner wrap, but unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The wrap was prepared very carelessly and completely fell apart after just a few bites. The ingredients were spilling everywhere, and I ended up throwing the food away because I could not eat it properly. Considering the amount I paid, I expected much better quality and preparation. I also mentioned the issue to the staff, but instead of taking my concern seriously or offering a solution, I was simply told, “No, it’s good.” I found that response very frustrating and unprofessional. I understand that mistakes can happen, but customers should receive their food in a properly prepared and presentable condition. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously and puts more care into preparing döner wraps in the future. Unfortunately, I feel that my money was wasted on this order.

Really cozy environment inside and the employees are really welcoming especially Mr. Anil. Best shawarma i’ve ever had, spices and taste in on point, Mr. Jagjit is really doing a positive work in there. Overall i really liked it being there.

I don’t want to hate on this brand at all — I’ve always ordered from the Shawarma Place on 17th Ave, and I’ve honestly loved it every single time. The quality, taste, and consistency there are excellent, which is why I trusted the brand in the first place. This time, however, Uber didn’t offer the 17th Ave location and instead pushed the location near Chinook. We decided to order from there, and that was a big mistake. I ended up throwing away half of the food. The shawarma was very small, extremely dry, made with clearly old meat, and the vegetables tasted spoiled. It was honestly inedible. I’m genuinely shocked by how massive the quality gap is between this location and the 17th Ave one. If you want a proper shawarma and don’t want to ruin your evening, order from the 17th Ave location only. The Chinook location was a complete letdown.
