We used to be huge fans of Jerusalem Shawarma in Edmonton, so we were very excited to visit the Royal Oak branch in Calgary as a family. We ordered 5 meals. I must say, the service, staff behavior, and preparation time were all excellent. However, the food itself did not taste like the Jerusalem Shawarma brand at all. The rice was very mushy and completely lacked that signature Mandi flavor. The meat also didn't have the taste we know and love from this brand. Our family loves this brand, but unfortunately, no one was satisfied with the food at this location. We truly hope they improve the quality to match the original standard. There was no signature tea as well.

We arranged a private event with amazing menu : chicken mandi, maklooba, lamb leg roast and chicken stuffed with vegetables. Dolma , baba ghanosh, pasta salad, Greek salad and finally baklava with black tea . Staff who served were very professional. all our guests enjoyed it. Highly recommend this location & country hills location for your next function.

The Oreo dessert was absolutely amazing! 😍 It was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced with the delicious chocolate topping. The Oreo pieces added a great crunch and made every bite even better. The texture was smooth and the sweetness was just right—not too heavy but very satisfying. Definitely one of the best Oreo desserts I’ve tried. Highly recommended for anyone who loves chocolate and Oreo! 🍫✨

A great experience at Jerusalem Shawarma. The food was fresh, flavorful, and served quickly. The shawarma was perfectly seasoned and the portions were very generous. The restaurant itself was clean and had a welcoming atmosphere. I also want to mention Adnan, one of the workers there. He was very friendly, respectful, and provided excellent customer service. He made sure our order was correct and checked that we were satisfied with the food. His positive attitude really made the visit even better. Overall, Jerusalem Shawarma is a fantastic place for delicious Middle Eastern food, and employees like Adnan make the experience even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will be coming back again.

The ratings here are so high, so my experience was really disappointing. The meat was insanely dry and cut into super tiny pieces?? I could only eat the potato and the salad :(
