from GoogleI had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. When we placed our order, the restaurant told us that our food would take about 20 minutes to be ready. However, we ended up waiting almost one full hour. When our breakfast finally arrived, they still did not bring my tea. We finished our breakfast, paid the bill, and were ready to leave, but my tea was still not served. They only brought my tea after we had already finished eating and paid. Also, some of the other food we ordered was still not brought to us even after we had paid and were leaving the restaurant. The service was extremely slow and poorly organized. If the restaurant tells customers that their food will take 20 minutes, they should not have to wait almost an hour. Overall, the customer service was very poor, and this was a very disappointing experience.
The Taste Factory in Calgary truly impressed me. The paratha was simply superb — perfectly crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, and full of that homemade flavour you can’t beat. The food tasted fresh, the service was friendly specially Vikas Chef was amazing host and the whole place has a warm, welcoming vibe. If you’re craving quality comfort food, this spot delivers.
This place was really impressive when I walked in . However, we were the only customers there and I was amazed of why such a nice place is empty. We ordered 4 dishes and were seated that it will take 25 minutes..., the waitress came after 10 minutes that 2 of the dishes are not available. The 3 dishes that were served, namely: Noodles were stale and smelled horrible. We did not touch it... the papri chat was also stale.... :( the last dish, chicken corn soup was nice, but it was more like vegetable soup. We were highly dissapointed, never going back or not recommending it to anyone.
We drove all the way from Cochrane to Calgary because this restaurant used to be our go-to spot for goat dishes, especially when my cousin visits from Edmonton. Unfortunately, this visit was extremely disappointing. We ordered the goat karahi, fish pakora, and jalebi. The jalebi was soggy, and when we asked if it could be replaced, we were simply told that it was made that morning and that it was supposed to be like that. The fish pakora lacked flavor, and when we requested some extra sauce or chili sauce, we were told there wasn’t any available. The goat dish, which is the main reason we come, was also below expectations and lacked the quality and taste we had experienced in the past. On top of that, the service was unhelpful and indifferent to our concerns. We made a special trip expecting the same great food we had enjoyed before, but this experience was a complete letdown. Sadly, we won’t be returning.

Instead of leaving, she took the time to personally welcome us, understand our preferences, and even created a custom menu experience tailored specifically for our table. Several items were made fresh to order, which showed an incredible level of care and hospitality that is rare to find these days. The food was outstanding. Every dish was bursting with flavor, perfectly balanced, and customized to our preferred spice level. As people who enjoy diverse food options in Toronto, we can honestly say the quality, freshness, and attention to detail here rival some of the best dining experiences we’ve had. The ambiance was warm, inviting, and comfortable, making the entire evening feel relaxed and enjoyable. The service was genuine, attentive, and never rushed. You could tell that every plate leaving the kitchen was prepared with pride. From the personalized service to the made-to-order dishes and exceptional flavors, Taste Factory delivered an unforgettable dining experience. If you’re visiting Calgary or are a local looking for a restaurant that truly cares about its guests, this place is an absolute must-visit. Extremely disappointing experience. We ordered through DoorDash and waited almost 2 hours, even though the restaurant was showing as open 24 hours. They cancelled the order after almost 2 hours, when all the other restaurants were already closed. If they were closed, why accept the order in the first place? This completely wasted our time. Very rude and unacceptable service.
Really disappointing experience. We waited an entire hour for our food, which is honestly unacceptable. On top of the long wait, the service was very rude and made the experience even worse. We expected much better, but unfortunately, this place was a huge disappointment. Definitely not an experience we would want to repeat. Not recommended
We went today and spend 72 dollars, the two indian girls working were soo rude, they served us cold parathaaa and when we complained, she said it was made fresh, no doubt the paratha was made fresh but they served us cold food, and they were kept on repeating that their closing time is 12:30am and please be quick our bus is at 1am, we have to go home also, we are working since more than 12 hrs, I think manager or owner should look up to this and replace staff with someone more responsible and efficient who can present them in their absence. Really liked their aloo naan that's why went there but really disappointed by the treatment we got there. Also the chicken karahi is too expensive for 18 dollars and serving is hardly for 2 person only. Their daal makhni was good. But the staff was super rudeee.. Again and Again they were saying they have to close the store by 12:30am.
I had a wonderful experience at TASTE OF FACTORY! The restaurant is extremely clean, well-maintained, and has a very welcoming atmosphere. The food is absolutely delicious—every dish is full of flavor and prepared to perfection. You can truly taste the quality and care in every bite. I would also like to especially appreciate Mr. Azan for his outstanding management. He is highly professional, humble, and dedicated to providing excellent customer service. His attention to detail and the way he manages everything so smoothly is truly impressive. I honestly have no words to fully describe how professional and respectful he is. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food, excellent service, and a clean dining experience. I will definitely be coming back!
Absolutely amazing experience at The Taste Factory! I ordered the halwa puri, and it was hands down one of the best I've ever had. Everything was perfectly prepared, and the flavors were rich, authentic, and well-balanced with just the right blend of spices. The food was fresh, delicious, and exceeded my expectations. A special thanks to Azaan, who was incredibly helpful, friendly, and attentive throughout my visit. His excellent customer service made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend The Taste Factory for anyone looking for outstanding food and great hospitality!
I came in with 2 of my friends today, I was not expecting how good the food I was about to eat. Absolutely amazing butter chicken! The sauce was rich, creamy, and packed with flavour, and the chicken tasted incredibly fresh and tender. Every bite was delicious and perfectly cooked. You can really tell they use quality ingredients and put care into the food. Easily one of the best butter chicken dishes I’ve had — fresh, tasty, and full of authentic flavour. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an unforgettable meal! This is the first but definitely not the last time, I will come here more often because the very least I can say is WOW!
