A prayer hall Masjid for Muslim Men and Women. It has specious spaces and ablution with washrooms.

I had such a terrible experience at this mosque. The volunteer(s) at this mosque have ruined the whole purpose of what a masjid is supposed to be for Muslims. I hate that when you say something right people act so shocked and surprised. Yes, I will always speak on the right thing. As someone who represents an organization like this your main priority should be to foster community especially in the month of Ramadan, which is such a blessed month for Muslims to come together, make people feel welcomed and bring the community together. What is the purpose of you volunteering if you are going to make people feel like they should never come back again? Especially to a masjid. I was asked 3-4x to stop completely talking along side my Muslim sisters for taraweh when we were not distracting anyone. No one else had any complaints except for the volunteers which I do not understand. And it seemed like a very targeted approach each time as well. Is any form of conversation just not allowed in a masjid? And when were these restriction put on by Allah(swt) that the rest of us don't know about? Why would anyone decide to go in the first place if that is the case? And on top of that she explained how she felt distracted by our minimal conversation. She had an open masjid all around her to pray in any area yet her location of choice was right beside us. That makes no sense. On top of that she was eavesdropping on the our conversation rather then focusing on praying her salah. This type of representation can have such a negative impact on those who are already Muslim, newly reverted to Islam or those who want to learn more about it, because you are creating such an unwelcoming environment when that is not what Islam is about. I hope this message for those who read it can be a place to self reflect and see where you can do better as a Muslim and set a better example.

One of my favourite places and organizations in the islamic community of calgary. IISC runs everything from prayers to events so smoothly and professionally compared to the other organization’s in this city. May it never change only for the better.

One of the best organization in North America.i found a trusted source of authentic Islamic knowledge, guidance, and community outreach. spiritual and educational upliftment of the Muslim community.IISC has highest standards of Islamic and professional. Welcoming everyone, a source of learn a source of giving and helping the community. this organization helping this community last near about 20 years. Helping the needy, orphan, Seniors, single mom ,homeless people, Free food during the month of Ramadan, Bringing youth and engaging them to social activities so they can stay away from drug and violence ,very transparent, This-organizations helped the community improving, people mental and their spiritual journey, Regardless Muslim and non Muslim this organization Working so hard to build a better communities. I really appreciate each and every person who is involved, Specially, volunteer ,imaam.management thank you for good service and bring community together❤️❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍👍👍
