Rollz makes rolled ice cream to order: a milk base poured onto a frozen steel plate, chopped and folded with your mix-ins, then scraped into rolls and stood up in a cup. Nothing is scooped from a tub, so you watch the whole thing happen. It is on this map because Rollz states the halal claim itself, and states the part that actually matters — the company describes its menu as “your ultimate vegetarian, gelatin-free, halal dessert spot,” with the waffles and cheesecakes made without eggs too. A gelatin-free, meat-free, alcohol-free base is the whole question for a dessert shop, and Rollz answers it in writing rather than leaving it to be asked at the counter. It keeps late hours built for after dinner: to midnight Monday through Thursday and 1 AM Friday through Sunday.
