I tried the bussin burger definitely delicious! I’m not a fan of the pink decor / 15% “recommended” tip. You are not serving me food at a table, I walked up and ordered at the counter. I also didn’t like that it turns out to be a halal restaurant (no signage)of course nothing wrong with that. I ordered the bussin burger that didn’t have “bacon” one other downfall is,it’s also take out only. That being said the burger was really good. I will try it again.

First Impressions We visited Bussin Burger after seeing strong reviews on Google Maps, hoping for a good smash-style burger — something fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Unfortunately, our experience didn’t live up to expectations. What stood out most wasn’t just the food, but the lack of clarity that shaped the entire visit. Transparency Matters We discovered only after ordering that this is a halal restaurant. That’s completely fine — but it should be stated clearly on Google Maps, in the restaurant, or at least visibly on their website. When I asked about bacon, the staff explained that they only serve beef bacon. I appreciated the clarification, but it felt misleading that there was no signage or indication of this anywhere. Transparency matters — not because it’s halal, but because diners deserve to know what they’re ordering. Food Quality The burger itself was underwhelming. The two patties were thin — honestly, there’s more meat in a Big Mac. The beef bacon had a strange aftertaste, and the cheese and tomato were sliced so thin they were barely there. On the positive side, the bun was excellent — soft, fresh, and nicely toasted. The sweet yam fries were crisp and flavorful, and the poutine was surprisingly good, with balanced gravy and fresh cheese curds. Service Our first interaction with the young woman behind the counter felt a little tense, especially when asking about the bacon. Perhaps she was surprised we didn’t know it was a halal place, but again, there was no way to know. Value Our order — three burgers, one sweet yam fries, one poutine, and one drink — came to just over $60. Considering the portion sizes and overall quality, it didn’t feel like a great value for what we received. Final Thoughts Bussin Burger might be a great fit for those specifically looking for a halal burger option, but it wasn’t quite for us. Still, the poutine showed genuine care and flavor, and I sincerely wish the owners and team all the best as they continue refining what could become a strong concept for the right audience.

This spot serves one of the best burgers around with decent price. Each bite is flavourful, satisfying, and made fresh . Their milkshakes are just as impressive: rich, creamy, and perfectly refreshing, making them a must-try alongside any meal. What really elevates the experience is the staff. They’re genuinely friendly, attentive, and highly knowledgeable about the menu, always ready to offer great recommendations. On top of that, the outdoor seating adds a relaxed, enjoyable vibe! Perfect for soaking up nice weather while enjoying your food and shakes. A place you’ll definitely want to come back to.

Went into the restaurant tonight hyped to use a coupon because it didn’t specify beef or chicken burgers, was informed that the coupon(even though it shows the image of said chicken burger) was not applicable to the chicken burgers only the wraps, which I found to be funny because I was instead told to get a chicken wrap “because it’s still chicken” I don’t know if this lack of training of the staff, a failure on the marketing teams behalf, but as the coupon said single burger(chicken burgers are single burgers) I was told it referred to the “still single” burger only(all other coupons specify type beef or chicken burgers). Ended up spending 20$ more than the coupon! Because I wanted a chicken burger, Not a crap wrap or a basic B burger. Left a bad taste in my mouth for this establishment, and though the food may be good the training, marketing, is less than to be desired, as a product advertised(picture specifically) should be honoured and the restaurant should be taking the L not the customer for crap advertising. 1/10, honestly will probably be the last time we eat here, just due to this incident. I advise anyone with the same coupons to heed the warning that they will not be honoured as advertised. Just as an add on the milkshake size is way to small for 11.99. Save your money folks go to real local legends like boogies, peters or flippin

I wish I had checked reviews first. First, wildly overpriced. As others have mentioned, the burgers are small for the price, and overall not good. The beef bacon is listed on the menu but cooked horribly; it's fatty and rubbery. We got the mozzarella sticks for $5.99, and there were 5 of them, each about 4 inches. For a place that markets itself as a "gourmet burger," it's far worse than any fast-food chain. It will never see another dime from me.
