Qamaria Yemeni Coffee Beacon Hill
Qamaria’s second Calgary location, in Beacon Hill on Sarcee Trail, opened after the 17th Avenue flagship — the first Qamaria in Canada — proved the appetite was there. The menu is the same: coffee sourced directly from Yemen’s Haraz region, pistachio lattes hot or iced, Adeni tea, honeycomb pastry, rose milk cake and pistachio knafeh. As at the flagship, nothing on the menu contains meat. The northwest location makes it a far easier stop than 17th Avenue if you are anywhere near Beacon Hill or Sarcee Trail, and it draws a late crowd.
