The food was delicious with bold, Karachi-style flavors — spicy and full of taste. The biryani stood out, the beef nihari was tender and well-spiced, and the haleem was enjoyable. The bun kabob felt a bit overpriced for something quite basic, and the naan were standard takeout style. Overall, a good food experience with friendly and welcoming staff.
One of the best Haleem and Nihari I have eaten in Canada - liked their food so much that ended up ordering it a second time in the same day! Highly recommended! Serving size is very decent - 2 plates is good enough for 3 people at least.
The nihari is EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD!!! I just wish the naans were tandoori style like Pakistan. Spicy and really well blend. We enjoy with our family a lot! The sitting area could use an upgrade but the nihari makes you overlook everything! It's a MUST TRY!
Food has an amazing taste. But Just a heads up, when ordering make sure you’re getting for the right price. It happened with us twice while ordering they have 2 price lists at the counter. According to them, one price menu is from 2021 and they have always that one on top and the current one underneath it. They won’t tell you, you’ll have to notice it by yourselves. Because they add up the total bill with the new price, which is higher than the older menu. We tried lasagna and beef boti roll, both were delicious.

The nihari is the dish to get, tender and well spiced, and one visitor called it the best nihari in Calgary. Call ahead to check it is on before you come. The biryani stands out, and the haleem and chaat are well liked. For something different, the lasagna and beef boti roll are good. The cooking is bold and spicy, and the haleem is hearty and full of flavour, the kind of meal that keeps you coming back.
Before you order
The owner and staff are happy to recommend what to try, so ask for their favourites. The bun kabob is a fun extra to try alongside the nihari.
Family dinners and takeout
It is a good family dinner or takeout order. Portions are generous, so two plates can feed three. The room is simple and welcoming, and the food is the star, with friendly staff and a warm welcome from the owner.
