from GoogleVery disappointing experience with the way this Islamic center is being managed. The organizers do not allow kids to pray on the first floor, which makes it very difficult for families. A masjid should be a welcoming place for everyone, including children. If we do not allow kids to be part of the prayer environment, how will they learn and feel connected to the masjid? Unfortunately, this policy does not make the center feel family-friendly. I sincerely hope the management reconsiders this approach and finds a better way to accommodate families. We need to create space for our children in our mosques so they can grow up feeling welcome and comfortable in the house of Allah.

Al-Hedaya Islamic Centre is a beautiful and peaceful masjid in NE Calgary. The prayer area is clean, spacious, and well maintained. The environment is calm and welcoming, perfect for worship and reflection. A great place for families and individuals alike to connect with the community and grow spiritually. Truly a blessing to have in the area!
I came to the mosque today for Friday prayer based on the timings listed on their official website (2:00, 2:30, and 3:00 PM). I arrived at 2:30 PM, and waited, but no prayer took place. Unfortunately, because of this incorrect information, I ended up missing my Friday prayer. It would really help if the information could be updated to reflect the actual prayer schedule so others don’t have to go through the same experience. I have left a voicemail regarding the same.
The food was delicious, the service was very good, and they were also very generous; the sweets and tea were complimentary.
