I got to say this is one of my favorite grocery stores in calgary...very clean and organized....they literly got everything you can think off that other stores don't have. Wide selection of iraqi products....spices... and all. Fresh bread....and their meat is 1000000 times better than the other stores.. it's a must try. New gem...needs to be checked out.
Awesome Discovery today. I popped into Tasty Halal Store and was blown away at their manakeesh (pies). We had the meat and cheese and they were the absolute best I’ve had. I can’t wait to go back and try their smash burgers. It’s a little grocery store with seriously a whole lot more. Definitely worth checking out.

This lil hidden gem is a must visit! They make a darn tasty donair, and they have great prices on grocery items! They have a little butcher shop right in the store, and they will grind the beef right in front of you, it's the best tasting I have found!! The fellas in there are super friendly. I just love them and the shop!! I used to live across the street, now I travel across the city to frequent this shop!

An Iraqi and Levantine grocery at 3304 64 Street NE, with a halal meat counter, an in-house bakery and a small kitchen. Dairy, fish and pantry goods sit alongside the Iraqi and Levantine products.
The manakeesh with meat and cheese is the one to try first, and one visitor called it the best they had tasted. The bread is baked on site, so the flatbread is soft and fresh. The kitchen also makes donair, and smash burgers are on the menu. The range of spices and Iraqi products is wide, so it is worth browsing the shelves.
At the meat counter
Beef is ground in front of you, and fresh chicken is kept beside it. Visitors say the grind is excellent, that the meat is better than at other shops, and that the staff are friendly. Grocery prices are considered good, and the store is clean and well organised. Free parking is available.
