Wanted to introduce Indian food to my wife and we dropped bu Spice Darbar for the first time. We ordered butter chicken and chicken biryani. Out of all the places I’ve had chicken biryani, I could say that this place definitely is one of the best. The tanginess and spice level was just perfect, to the point that my wife also loved her experience. Definitely will order from here again.

We had a wonderful experience! The Malai Chaap was incredibly flavorful, tender, and perfectly cooked. The Chilli Momos were delicious with just the right balance of spice and great texture. As a lovely surprise, they also served us complimentary Gulab Jamun, which was warm, fresh, and the perfect sweet ending to our meal. The food, hospitality, and thoughtful gesture made our visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommended we’ll definitely be back 👍🏻

I’ve been coming here since their first week of opening and have always enjoyed getting sweets from this place. Unfortunately, my recent experience was disappointing. The sweet I usually get wasn’t available, so I asked if I could taste one of the other sweets before deciding, especially since I was planning to buy a good amount. I’ve never had an issue with this before, but this time I was told no by a young girl who was working there. Most of the time, I’ve dealt with a gentleman who I believe may be the owner, or with another female staff member, and I’ve never had an experience like this before. I understand that businesses may have their own policies, but as a regular customer since the beginning, I didn’t feel good about the way the situation was handled. I ended up leaving without purchasing anything. Hopefully, the staff can be a little more understanding and customer-friendly, especially with returning customers.

We ordered the Malai Kofta, and it was one of the worst meals we’ve had. As soon as we started eating, we noticed the kofta was extremely hard, dry, and almost impossible to cut or chew. It tasted stale, lacked flavor, and was nothing like a proper Malai Kofta should be. The gravy was also disappointing and didn’t make the dish any better. For the price we paid, we expected fresh, good-quality food, but this was far below expectations. It was a complete waste of money and ruined our meal. We won’t be ordering from this restaurant again, and we cannot recommend it to anyone. Save your money and spend it somewhere that values quality and serves fresh food.
