from GoogleBurger Mechanic absolutely tuned up my expectations and then blew right past them. I ordered the Holy Burger and it was truly to die for. Every component was firing on all cylinders. The peri peri fries were incredibly flavourful, perfectly seasoned, and impossible to stop eating. As a lovely surprise, I was also treated to a complimentary chicken soup, which was rich, comforting, and absolutely delicious. The cozy atmosphere made the experience even better. The chairs were so comfortable that I could have happily stayed much longer enjoying my meal. The food was so good that I couldn’t leave without ordering the famous fish and chips to go for later. I’m glad I did. The haddock was perfectly cooked, crispy and golden on the outside, tender and flaky on the inside, with just the right amount of seasoning. Exceptional food, generous hospitality, comfortable seating, and flavours that are clearly running at peak performance. I’ll definitely be back for another tune-up!
I paid just over $20 bucks for fries and a spicy chicken burger (I can't remember the exact name). Free water wasn't available at the time so I didn't get to drink anything with my meal. The menu board is in a slightly awkward spot. It did come with a free soup though. I really enjoyed my spicy chicken burger and it really filled me up before I went to the Ne-Yo and Akon concert. The fries were a pretty good flavour too. Staff was friendly too. I will likely give this place another try if I stay at the Best Western nearby the next time I am in Calgary. The bathroom was clean too.
We had a great experience at Burger Mechanic! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted, and the person taking our order was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We ordered burgers and fries, and everything was made fresh to order. We could see the fries being put into the fryer after we placed our order, which made the short wait well worth it. The food was served promptly, and it was exactly what we needed after working up an appetite. The restaurant was clean, including the restrooms, and the service throughout our visit was excellent. If you’re looking for fresh, delicious burgers and great customer service, I definitely recommend giving Burger Mechanic a try!
Stopped in for lunch on a rainy day. Pleasantly surprised to find a spacious well lit area with lots of seating available. They have fish n chip options, chicken burgers and beef burgers plus a few appetisers to choose from. They have no pork and use beef bacon so it's great for those who don't eat pork. Prices are a little on the higher side but boy, the portion sizes did not disappoint! We were also given some chicken soup samples to try out which was perfect for the rainy weather. I chose a holy chicken burger ($16) which comes with beef bacon, fried onion rings, tomato, lettuce, mayo, cheese and pickles. The mayo is more of a dressing so was a little runny and tart for my liking. But overall the burger was delicious, as they use marinated chicken breast coated in a crunchy batter. We updated to a combo for $6.50 which was a large portion of crunchy fries and a pop. Only small letdown was the burger was a little too salty for my liking, otherwise it was delicious and super filling. It's a great spot with plenty of seating if you're looking for a big meal.
My 11 year old said hey Mom let's try this place and am I glad he did! The Food was amazing! Usually Fish and chips are greasy and overbattered but this was light and crispy. Probably the best peice of Fish I've had. We also ordered the spicy chicken burger and it did not disappoint either!!! I typically do not care forever coated fries but these were good. While we waited for our food we were given a complimentary bowl of homemade soup. This was also lovely. Lastly the restaurant was clean, comfortable seating and a fun vibe with the ocean themed walls. The shark in the bathroom is a striking image! I highly recommend giving this place a try!
🥯 Came here for the first time today and we really loved it. Unlike a lot of small burger spots where you usually catch that stale oil smell, the place was super clean, cozy, and inviting. The service was quick and fast, and the food turned out incredibly delicious and high quality. The burgers are a great size and totally filling. The chairs are comfortable too, which makes the vibe even better. All in all, it’s a cool, unique spot and we will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend checking it out!👍👍👍👍👍
❄️ It was snowing outside, and all I could think about was burgers & fries! 🍔🍟 The complimentary corn soup was sooo yummy, warm and comforting 🤍 Tried their Chicken Burger, Holy Burger, Fish Burger & Peri Peri Fries, and everything was sooo soo good! 😍🔥 Definitely hit the spot on a snowy day! The best part? The amazing staff and their lovely service! 🫶🏻✨

Came here with my family for dinner after visit Stanley Park. The burgers are awesome! Very juicy, not oily, fries are not fast food type. Filet taste great as well. If you looking for a fast bite, this is recommended for you.
Really impressed with this spot. Great variety on the menu, fresh ingredients, and very reasonable prices. They even brought us a complimentary soup while we waited, which was a nice touch. Service was great from start to finish. I ordered both the fish and a burger because I had to try it all, and neither disappointed. Definitely worth checking out.

Smash burger and English-style fish and chips shop on Macleod Trail SE near Chinook, where the burgers are 100% halal and the menus say so. There is no pork on the menu, and beef bacon is used in place of pork bacon.
What to order
Order the Holy Beef Burger, or try the spicy chicken burger if you want chicken. The peri peri fries are a strong side, and the haddock fish and chips are light and crisp rather than greasy. Everything is made from scratch, and the fish burger is a good alternative if you want something different.
What to expect
It is a relaxed, roomy place with plenty of seating, so it works well for a family dinner or a big group.
